Test access to the UpToDate database!
We are pleased to announce that free trial access to the world’s leading UpToDate medical database has been opened for two months!
UpToDate is a resource that provides healthcare professionals with relevant and evidence—based information on the topic of medicine and helps them make decisions in the management and treatment of patients. The UpToDate database covers 25 clinical specialties (over 13,000 clinical topics). UpToDate also contains over 1,500 thematic reviews for patients, more than 37,000 high–resolution illustrations, 200 medical calculators, and more than 7,000 descriptions (monographs).
Access to UpToDate is provided in two modes: general authorized and individual authorized.
- For the user to work in the general authorized access mode (the system does not identify the user‘s identity, only the organization is authorized by IP), it is enough to open the link http://www.uptodate.com from any computer of the university that is in the range of registered IP addresses.
- For the user to work in the individual authorized access mode, a one-time user registration is required. After registration, the user gets the opportunity to work with UpToDate remotely.
